Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Construction Estimators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of estimating experience and a proven ability to accurately bid on a variety of construction projects. In some cases, the role may also involve overseeing project management duties alongside estimating responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and site visits.
• Bid on projects by analyzing scope, labor, materials, and other cost factors.
• Conduct post-job evaluations to refine estimating processes and ensure accuracy in future bids.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather the necessary information for estimates.
• Occasionally manage construction projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, and contractor coordination as both a Project Manager and Estimator.
• Present bids and estimates to company management and potential clients.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a solid track record of successful bids.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
