Diversity Consulting Services

WHAT WE DO

We’re honored to receive requests from companies every week wanting to learn how they can put their business in a better position to hire from the refugee and immigrant communities.

After developing the following services in the course of serving our staffing clients over the last few years, we’ve decided to make them available to any company across the globe needing help in engaging the refugee workforce.

SERVICES OVERVIEW AND STRUCTURE

  • Brief Analysis & Advice

How can we hire refugees at our company? A one-hour phone call with one of our executive team members on how to recruit and retain refugee employees at your company. This engagement is specifically for companies that are not currently near any of our regional offices. Connections with local refugee partners in your area can be made in tandem with this engagement if possible.

  • Culture and Inclusivity Workshop

How can we create a strong culture for refugees to thrive at our company? A one hour Zoom call with one of our executive team members on how to ensure you and your team are prepared and aware of the benefits and challenges in employing the refugee workforce. This engagement is best for companies early in the journey of hiring refugees and immigrants at their company who desire to have everyone involved on the same page with a common “language”. This is for the HR manager who says, “I don’t want to just jump into and figure it out as we go. I want to make sure our whole team is aware of what we’re getting into here so we can do it right from the start.” Case studies will be used in this training and time for Q&A will be made available.

  • Two-Day Site Evaluation

How can we best position our business to fill labor gaps from the refugee and immigrant communities? A face-to-face visit to your business from one of our executive team members to identify and create an action plan to recruit and retain refugee employees at your company. This engagement would include observing facilities, hire and onboarding processes, new employee trainings, company events, etc. and provide critical and evaluative feedback and ideas about inclusivity and cultural awareness specific to your company. An action plan will be developed at the conclusion of the two day site evaluation for your company and we will maintain contact to hold you and your team accountable.

  • Multi-Site Evaluation

How can we best position each of our company locations to fill labor gaps from the refugee and immigrant communities? A face to face visit to your various work sites from one of our executive team members to identify and create an action plan to recruit and retain refugee employees at your company. This engagement would include observing facilities, hire and onboarding processes, new employee trainings, company events, etc. and provide critical and evaluative feedback and ideas about inclusivity and cultural awareness specific to your company. An action plan will be developed at the conclusion of each site evaluation for your company and we will maintain contact to hold you and your team accountable.

  • In-Depth Culture and Inclusivity Assessment

How do we objectively determine where we are now and what we need to do to create an inclusive workplace where refugee and immigrant employees can thrive? An on-going tool to identify strengths and weaknesses of your current culture and inclusivity and determine areas for improvement over time. This engagement is the most in-depth service offered and pricing is determined based on project scope. It is best positioned for companies that recognize they have a lot of work to do to become a more inclusive workplace and desire a third-party with fresh eyes to help you identify areas of improvement, order of focus and monitored growth throughout contracted engagement. Service includes:

– initial consultation of company goals and needs

– development and orientation of an internal project team representing various departments and diversities within your company

– collective creation and delivery of confidentiality agreement and cultural assessment

– data analysis and group/individual debrief

– long-term strategy for improvement

– on-going quality assurance metrics in place
