Job Title: Licensed Sales Professional
Location: In-person
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $40,000 – $80,000 per year (base + incentives)

Breaking Barriers of Western New York (BBWNY) is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Licensed Sales Professional to join their local independent agency. In this community-facing role, you will engage new prospects, nurture long-term relationships, and provide insurance and financial products that help customers protect their homes, vehicles, and retirement plans. As a trusted advisor, you’ll educate clients on coverage options and deliver a consistently positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to grow the agency’s book of business
  • Achieve sales goals through inbound leads, referrals, and community outreach
  • Stay organized and efficient in daily workflows and follow-ups
  • Match customers with appropriate insurance and financial products
  • Conduct needs-based policy reviews and recommend coverage updates
  • Ensure a high-quality, professional customer experience at all times

Required Qualifications

  • Active insurance sales license (e.g., Life/Health and/or Property & Casualty) or ability to obtain promptly; licensed candidates strongly preferred
  • Confident self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Positive, motivated, and customer-focused mindset
  • Prior sales experience is a plus
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
